DREAMS WILL COME TRUE WITH PERSISTENCE —— The 30th Anniversary Celebration Event of Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School

On November 11th, 2023, the DREAMS WILL COME TRUE WITH PERSISTENCE - Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School's 30th Anniversary Celebration Event was held at Shanghai WFLPS. Members of the Board of Directors, senior leaders and experts, principals, members of school's parent committee, student and teacher representatives witnessed the outstanding achievements of this excellent institution which rooted in the education industry for 30 years.

Mr. Wang Junjin, the Chairman of Juneyao Group, warmly welcomed and  all the guests teachers and students. Mr. Wang Zhihua, the Vice President of Xuhui District, highly praised the achievements of Shanghai WFLPS's development over the past 30 years, and stated that with 30-year efforts, WFLPS had developed into a high-quality institution recognized by parents, with excellent quality and distinctive characteristics. He hoped that Shanghai WFLPS would take this anniversary as an opportunity to continue maintaining the positive trend of development, consistently explore and innovate, take the leading role in education reform, and contribute more to improving the quality of education in Xuhui District.

As one of the high-quality education brands in Xuhui District, Shanghai WFLPS is a pioneer and demonstrator of Xuhui's education reform. In the section of 30 Years of Looking Back at WFL, the school showcased the development process of 3 self- transcendence attempts of WFLPS through a combination of virtual and real video media and wonderful performances by teachers and students. From the initial positioning and formation of distinctive foreign language teaching characteristics through the use of the private and public assistance system, to the successful transformation into a private school and the formation with Departments of  Domestic, Bilingual, and Integration. And then to focusing on students' core competencies, deepening reforms, and forming a new trend from English characteristics to the simultaneous development of various disciplines, WFLPS has shown a vitality of continuous growth and transformation.

Since its establishment in 1993, Shanghai WFLPS has adhered to the philosophy of Let the students embrace the world; let the world be the part of the school life, gathered the essence of educational research achievements, learnt from the strengths of Chinese and foreign education experiences, integrated the advantages of Chinese and Western cultures, and cultivated a batch of outstanding students going to the world. In the section of Talk with Alumni about WFLPS, alumni talked about the meaningful and significant stories with WFLPS during their growth. In their eyes, WFLPS is not only a provider of knowledge, but also a cradle for shaping their excellent qualities such as innovation, growth, rules, sense of responsibility, and love. Alumini expressed their best wishes and expectations to WFLPS.

The celebration came to the end with the singing of teachers and students. School leaders stated that they will take the anniversary as an opportunity to adhere to strengthening characteristics, optimizing teams, seizing the opportunity of education reform, expanding educational advantages, increasing the cultivation of course characteristics, and strengthening high-quality private brands in the future development. At the same time, school will further innovate the training mechanism, make full use of platforms such as Famous Teacher Studios(改为：Leading Teacher Workshops), and create a high-quality teacher team with cutting-edge demonstration and leading effects, promoting the continuous improvement of the educational quality.
