On the afternoon of December 17, 2023, Ms Rachel T.A. Croson, Executive Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs, Mr. Cui Haitao, the Lifetime Professor of Marketing, and Ms. Liu Fangyuan, Director of the China Representative Office of the University of Minnesota, visited Shanghai World Foreign Language Education Group, and had a friendly meeting with Mr. Wang Junjin, Chairman of Juneyao Group and Chairman of Shanghai WFL Education Group, and Mr. Xu Jian, Vice President of Juneyao Group and President of Shanghai WFL Education Group.
Firstly, as a doctoral student at the Univresity of Minnesota, Mr. Wang Junjin expressed his sincerest welcome to the guests. He introduced the 5 major business sectors covered by Juneyao Group and emphasized that the Group has always adhered to the concept of creating value for society, actively participated in the education reform, and took the mission of building a Century-Honored Schools, to continue operating the schools steadily and innovating for future development.
After that, Mr. Xu Jian gave a detailed introduction to the development process, educational philosophy, talent cultivation, core achievements, and other aspects of WFL Education. He stated that with its refined management, abundant curriculum resources, and high-quality teaching staff, WFL Education has developed into an education group with a good social reputation and outstanding educational benefits.
During the meeting, guests exchanged and discussed topics such as grouped schooling, international education, international teaching training, inter school visits, and directions for further education. Guests were deeply interested in the active exploration of Internet + and the creation of a smart education model by WFL Education. The full use of digital resources has greatly promoted educational reform and improved teaching efficiency.
At present, WFL Education is fully integrating digital transformation with educational concepts, establishing a curriculum research and development center, using digital tools to create a question bank, oral practice system, electronic assessment system, original graded reading materials, and further improving, optimizing, and upgrading digital curriculum materials, exploring replicable, sustainable, and applicable digital new models in a wider range of teaching fields.
