Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language School (referred as QWFLS)  settled in Qingpu in April 2016, belongs to Shanghai WFL Education Group of Juneyao Group, which is the same as Shanghai WFLA, Shanghai WFLPS, Shanghai Jiading WFLS, Shanghai Jinshan WFLS, Shanghai Baoshan WFLS. The school was awarded Qinpgu Civilized Campus, Qingpu Excellent Social Organization, Qingpu Behavior Model School, Shanghai Mental Health Demonstration School, Shanghai Rule of Law School, Shanghai Ecological Culture School, Qingpu Family Education Demonstration School, Shanghai Labor Education Characteristic School, Qinpgu Art Characteristic School, and others.

QWFLS is a private 9-year integrated school in Qingpu District. It will continue enrolling grade 1 students for primary school and grade 6 students for junior high school in 2024. Based on more than 30-year operating experiences from Shanghai WFLPS and WFLA, QWFLS adheres to the educational philosophy of connecting to the world and pursuing a dream in the future, and integrates the advantages of various high-quality courses at Shanghai WFLPS and WFLA to form a distinctive curriculum system at QWFLS.

QWFLS is currently divided into primary school (regular class and fusion class), and junior high school (regular class and fusion class). Primary School implements 4+1 curriculum.  “4” is a “4-day” subject division teaching that implements the national curriculum in a school-based manner, intensifying subject knowledge and concepts.  “1” is an “1-day” project-based learning that emphasizes on the application of what students have studied, to cultivate students’ innovative literacy and practical abilities. The junior high school also implements 4+1 curriculum, based on the implementation and strengthening of the national curriculum, combined with the deepening of project-based learning, to cultivate students' comprehensive literacy. The school adheres to the principles of cultivating moral character, putting people first, and promoting five domains of education simultaneously, consolidating the national curriculum as a whole, optimizing school-based curriculum, and exploring integrated curriculum. With a diverse and integrated curriculum structure rooted in China, it comprehensively develops quality education. Fusion Department of primary school implements bilingual teaching with a combination of Chinese and foreign teacher. Mr. Xu Jian, the former principal of WFLA, personally serves as the Principal of Qingpu Shiwai.
