The kindergarten covers a site area of 7,388 square meters, with a total floor area of 8,430 square meters — one basement level and three floors above ground. Green space covers 2,587 square meters, giving a green coverage rate of 35%. A range of purpose-built activity rooms supports the curriculum, including an Art Room, a Reading Room, a Life Skills Room and a Science Discovery Room.

Beyond the campus itself, the kindergarten will develop an adjacent plot into the WFL Tao Garden — a wild, breathable outdoor learning space that invites exploration. Here children can plant and tend, observe and record, play in nature, experience the 24 solar terms, and challenge themselves physically, so that the environment itself speaks and learning unfolds naturally in authentic settings. Local Chongming produce such as rice, Chinese mitten crab and the Chongming white goat is woven into the experience, truly realizing the aim of experiencing in context, learning through life.

The kindergarten recruits outstanding teachers from across the district and brings in experienced educators. All teachers on the official establishment hold a bachelor's degree or above and the relevant professional qualifications. The team is characterized by maturity and stability: teachers with 6 to 20 years of teaching experience account for 93.8%, and those holding the Level-One professional title or above account for 56.3%. With rich experience in care and education, they effectively safeguard the quality of daily curriculum delivery. Six teachers have been recognized as district-level teaching exemplars, forming the driving force behind curriculum innovation. As the first kindergarten in the district to pilot the three educators per class model, we encourage teachers to revisit and reshape their care practice from a professional standpoint, moving care and education from parallel to integrated.
