Shanghai Shiwai Jiaoyu Fushu Cangnan Xinqu Shiyan Youeryuan was established in September 2024. Located at 8 Jinxiu Road, Lingxi Town, within the core area of Dupu Future Community—a provincial "high-quality model neighborhood"—it adjoins Zhuangyuan Park, a repository of Cangnan's historical and cultural heritage. As a collaborative effort between the Cangnan County People's Government and Shanghai World Foreign Language Education Group, it operates as a county-administered public kindergarten under the direct supervision of the Education Bureau. Spanning 9,294.94 square meters with a built area of 8,690.57 square meters, the 18-class facility accommodates 540 students, featuring advanced infrastructure, comprehensive functionalities, and a highly qualified teaching team.
Adopting a joint-venture model, the kindergarten integrates Shanghai World Foreign Language Education Group's brand services to advance kindergarten education quality in Cangnan. As an affiliate of the Group, it inherits the educational philosophy 'I make the world beautiful,' aiming to nurture every child to develop a “Rooted in China, Eyes on the World” mindset, empowering them to become holistic, future-ready citizens and virtuous lifelong learners with a deep appreciation for love and aesthetics. In the pursuit of excellence, we uphold rigorous standards, set well-defined objectives, and remain committed to delivering quality education. Building upon the distinctive educational approach of Shanghai World Foreign Language Education, through rigorous execution of national and local curricula, enriched with authentic local cultural heritage and the curriculum concepts and framework of Cangnan's mountain-and-sea culture, guided by a core competency-based developmental framework, and incorporating international educational concepts, we have developed the Well-being Curriculum. This child-centered, concept-driven inquiry-based model fosters a cohesive ecosystem cultivating well-rounded children, professionally empowered educators, and collaboratively engaged parents.
Guided by the Ministry of Education's '3-6-Year-Old Children's Learning and Development Guidelines' and incorporating the achievements of Wenzhou's second-phase curriculum reform, the kindergarten inherit the quality and characteristics of World Foreign Language Education. Rooted in the fundamental virtues of truth, goodness, and beauty inherent in life, we integrate the curriculum concepts and framework of Cangnan's mountain-and-sea culture to develop a core competency-oriented Well-being Integrated Curriculum. The Well-being Integrated Curriculum is concept-driven. In the localized environment of Cangnan's mountain-and-sea setting, through collaborative inquiry approaches, it enables young children to construct their understanding of themselves, the broader community, and the world through action.
Shanghai Shiwai Jiaoyu Fushu Cangnan Xinqu Shiyan Youeryuan consistently implements the Well-being Curriculum of Shanghai World Foreign Language Early Childhood Education through diverse activities in four key domains: exercise, inquiry, play, and life skills. This multidimensional framework nurtures children's joyful and healthy growth by encouraging autonomous exploration in safe and stimulating settings.

The kindergarten has a building area of 8,690.57 square meters and a site area of 9,294.94 square meters. Facilities include little kitchen, library, art room, science exploration room, programming lab, Bit cabin, planting area, sand-water exploration zone, and outdoor play area...all designed to let children freely express their nature, open their minds, and experience multicultural influences comprehensively, becoming Well-being children.
The planting:is a vibrant little world where children sow small seeds, learn the mysteries of plants from every dewdrop, understand life's rhythms from every ray of sunshine, and witness flowers blooming and fruits ripening
The sand-water:exploration zone features sand and water with diverse, simple, and flexible characteristics. When combined with other materials, they spark children's curiosity and thirst for knowledge, containing unlimited creative and exploratory possibilities, nourishing spirituality, and stimulating imagination and creativity through interaction with nature.
The outdoor play area : utilizes natural materials to design various play spaces of different sizes and functions for jumping, climbing, and hiding. Designs like climbing logs, whisper tubes and crawl tunnels enhance the fun and interactivity of the undulating terrain, meeting children's recreational needs.
The kindergarten has a highly professional, experienced, and caring teaching team. All teachers hold bachelor's degrees or above (including current students) in early childhood education-related majors.
