About Us

Shanghai World Foreign Language Yunshang Olion Kindergarten is jointly established by Shanghai World Foreign Language Education Group and Shanghai Olion Education Group. Located at 21 Yunshang Road, Baoshan District, the kindergarten covers an area of approximately 7,333 square meters and opened in September 2020.

Adhering to the educational philosophy of " I make the world beautiful", WFLK Yunshang integrates the resources and advantages of both education groups, possessing not only an excellent management system, curriculum system, teaching team, and educational services but also abundant international education resources.

In July 2024, the kindergarten successfully obtained authorization for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), officially becoming a member of the IB World School community. As a member of Shanghai World Foreign Language Baoshan Education Group, we are continuously striving to develop into a high-quality, high-standard private kindergarten with exceptional educational excellence.

Our Curriculum

Building upon the distinctive educational approach of Shanghai World Foreign Language Education, through rigorous execution of national and local curricula, enriched with authentic local cultural heritage, guided by a core competency-based developmental framework, and incorporating international educational concepts, we have developed the Well-being Curriculum. This child-centered, concept-driven inquiry-based model fosters a cohesive ecosystem cultivating well-rounded children, professionally empowered educators, and collaboratively engaged parents.

Shanghai World Foreign Language Yunshang Olion Kindergarten consistently implements the Well-being Curriculum of Shanghai World Foreign Language Early Childhood Education through diverse activities in four key domains: exercise, inquiry, play, and life skills. This multidimensional framework nurtures children's joyful and healthy growth by encouraging autonomous exploration in safe and stimulating settings.

The Well-being Curriculum at WFLK Yunshang is structured into three categories: 1 Curriculum, 1+N Curriculum, and 1+∞ Curriculum.

Our Facility

Shanghai World Foreign Language Yunshang Olion Kindergarten's architectural design was conceived by renowned Chinese architect Mr. Zhuang Shen under the philosophy of "A Little Growing World," creating a distinctive, ecologically pleasant, and internationally high-end kindergarten for children. The kindergarten covers an area of approximately 7,333 square meters and currently has 15 teaching classes. It is equipped with a multifunctional activity space in the inner courtyard, an endless rooftop sports platform, a technology interaction hall, a paradise-style public exploration space, indoor and outdoor play experience areas, and more, providing children with safe, diverse, and appropriate learning and living spaces.

Our Team

The kindergarten boasts a professional teaching team passionate about children, energetic, and fully qualified. All teachers hold bachelor's degrees or higher, with 20% possessing master's degrees or international education backgrounds. Every educator is certified in early childhood education or holds relevant teaching credentials. Each member undergoes rigorous psychological evaluations, comprehensive onboarding assessments, and receives standardized training and placement from the World Foreign Language Early Childhood Education. The kindergarten further provides teachers with specialized lectures, systematic training, practical mentoring, and guided professional development programs to enhance their skills.
