In May 2016, with the invitation of Nanxiang Town Government, the Education Bureau of Jiading District cooperated with Shanghai Juneyao Group to introduce the high-quality brand WFL by establishing the Shanghai Jiading World Foreign Language School (referred to Jiading WFLS).

Jiading WFLS is a private nine-year integrated school. The school building is located at 255 Huigui Road, Nanxiang Town, Jiading District, covering an area of 50 acres. It was officially put into use on September 1, 2019. The school has a scale of 36 classes, with 4 classes per grade. In September 2017, the first batch of 70 students enrolled in two classes for the sixth grade of junior high school. At present, the school has a totally 36 classes from primary school to junior high school, with more than 1100 students.

The new school building consists of 1 administrative building, 4 teaching buildings, and 1 combined sports area and cafeteria. The school provides each classroom with Daikin air conditioner and an 80 inch Hiwo all-in-one machine. Each student is equipped with an independent desk, chair, and storage cabinet to ensure a spacious and bright classroom environment for learning and activities. The school has a 3-level library and reading rooms, with a collection of nearly 36000 books. It also has more than 50 specialized classrooms, including recording classrooms, drama classrooms, calligraphy and painting classrooms, traditional Chinese studies classrooms, computer classrooms, and innovation laboratories, to meet the diverse curriculum and teaching needs of the school.
