Shanghai World Foreign Language Academy (WFLA), formerly known as Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School, founded in 1996, is a private middle school in Shanghai with excellent academic and social reputation. The school has been awarded titles as Shanghai Model Unit, Shanghai Behavior Model School, and one of the first batch of Quality Education Experimental Schools in Xuhui District.

The school aims to cultivate modern Chinese to going to the world, actively explore and practice quality education, to cultivate students with love, elegance and generous. The school has two stages of junior and senior high school. Junior high school is divided into regular classes, bilingual classes, and fusion classes, while senior high school offers international curriculum. The school has two campus, which are located in No. 602 South Hongcao Road that covers 19877 m², and No. 400 Baihua Street that covers 9212 m², respectively. The campus environment is elegant, providing students with open, orderly, interactive and cooperative spaces everywhere.

The school has a dedicated and experienced teaching staff, with a teacher-stuednt ratio of 1:8.
